Default Reducing Virlog.dat

Hi all, I have NOD32 AV for MS exchange 2.7 installed on SBS2003 and have noticed the ESET\Logs\virlog.dat file is over 2gb in size, is there anyway to reduce this file size?

I've tried changing the log maintenance settings within the NOD32 system setup 'CP' to delete old logs after 1 day but it hasn't made any difference to the file size.

I'd appreciate any tips

Dave

Have you been receiving so many threats that the log has grown to such a size?

Hi

I don't think so, I think it's just grown over the last 3 yrs, now I need to reclaim some space on the system drive so I need to reduce the virlog.dat.

Perhaps you could simply delete it so that it's re-created from scratch.

It's constantly in use so I don't have that option. I could take the server off line and probably into safe mode - not something I want to do but if that's the only way.....
