I just want to make sure, I've understood your question correctly.

You have some software which you installed on your computer and imaged/backedup with True Image.

Then you deleted the software from your computer and would like to restore it from the image.

Is that correct?

If so, is this a program that needs to use the registry?

Did you make an image (a tib file) or back up files and folders?

Which version of True Image are you using?

It might be possible to bring the software back onto your system, but if it needs to use the registry to operate it won't work.

If the software is the installer of the program, then this definitely will work.

There is no harm in mounting the image and dragging the software/folder back on to your harddrive, it might be that the registry settings are not that important - if it opens brilliant, if not no harm will have been done.
