Paragon B and R Free 2012 Doesnt see dvd 2 archive when restoring disk image
Installed Paragon B and R free 2012 to Asus laptop/win7 and made backup of HD to 4 dvd's. Boot from dvd to restore HD image and reads and starts restore from dvd number one. Asks me to put in disk two and then cannot read anything on disk two. Put disk two in desktop and files are there. Copied files to usb flash and can continue from usb.
Why can't I finish from dvd's? Oh, and if I put disk one back in, I can't see any files on the disk. Yes, I clicked show all files. Last edited by l92firebird : July 22nd, 2012 at 10:47 PM. |

The built in created Rescue Disk is a Linux disk which "may" be your problem. On some systems, it won't even boot.

Hum. Any work around, or do I just try a different HD imaging program?

I have long since abandoned fooling with DVDs for images and other backups and this isn't just a Paragon issue. I use USB drives.
