Default Spyware Guard BHO Alert

I recently began receiving this Spywareguard Browser Protection Alert. When I click on the "Remove the BHO" Button, I receive a message that the "BHO registry entries removed for *****". Then the same message as the first returns indicitaing that the problem still exists. I can do this as many time as I wish, all with the same result. Still have the unwanted BHO.

I have run Avast Anti-Virus, Kasperskys online scan, Spybot Search and Destroy, Adaware, AVG Anti-Spyware, Hijack This, Spyware Blaster etc.....

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 with all security updates installed on an Acer Aspire M5100 with AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor 2.20 GHz with 3 GB RAM.

They're called Browser Helper Objects...

That said, the filename suggests this particular BHO is very likely a Vundo/Virtumonde adware component, and it is not possible to simply disable or delete one of these using "conventional" means. A more holistic approach is required.

I strongly suggest you post at one of the forums specializing in malware removal.

Here are a few good ones:

http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/index.php?
http://www.techsupportforum.com/

http://forums.techguy.org/

Launch a forum topic in the appropriate section of the board detailing your problem, and one of the analysts will be happy to help.

Good luck!
