DCWG Check

When I try to perform the check at www.dcwg.org on my systems protected by Eset Smart Security, I cannot connect to the site at http://www.dns-ok.us/ or any of the checking sites. Though I don't have any reports of problems by ESET.

Upon further investigation, on my work laptop from home, I cannot get there either, though when I use my AT&T dialer for VPN access to work, I can get to the checker. Maybe something in my router?

Just in case, I thought I'd let you know that it only works with IE. It does not work with Opera browser, and I have no idea about other browsers.

I use ESET, and as long as I use IE, the test works fine at that site.

Is your router using an alternative DNS setup? It may or may not affect the results.

Also make sure your JAVA or FLASH is up to date in case the site is using them. I am not saying they are, but it never hurts.

I used it with FF 13 and it worked OK and came up green!
