Default Sygate

Wow! I only uninstalled Zone Alarm about 5 minutes ago and installed Sygate Personal Firewall, but I am really impressed! I love the interface, the options, even just the way this thing looks! I know that has no bearing on its performance, but I have read good things about it here so I trust it! The options are just great, finally I can tell something to absolutley block my stupid spy-ware Netropa one touch BS keyboard and it really does it !
I'm no expert, but still think Zone Alarm is better for people who have little interest in these subjects and want a firewall they can just install and pretty much leave alone. I have switched because I want to open particular ports to host online games with while still having my firewall protecting everything else. With Zonealarm I must close the whole firewall to play any games online. I have more testing to see how this firewall gets along with the different games, as most simply crash when you tell them to play "internet" games with ZA running.
Anyway I've gone on with my uneducated opinions n such for a while now so I'll go drink more coffee and stare at the neat little line graphs Sygate is generating, while poking around and trying to figure out all these "rules" options... Neat-o...

Oh BTW, if you read this MickeyTheMan, my thanks to you for your post in a thread (like the 4th or 5th thread) in this section of the forum, telling how to uninstall ZA properly without losing connection! I remembered it was here and found it, and the unistall was flawless!
