Hi, I was attempting to restore my OS partition (I have two partitions: C for windows xp, D for data)
After seeing the error, I found that drive C was now unpartitioned and labelled drive "E", and my drive D was now labelled drive "C". I tried the boot disk --- I was trying to access my data partition (to find out if it had been erased or not) but no drive letter would work --- I tried all letters A - Z .... they all gave me "invalid drive specification". |

Hello tendercare,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software. I'm afraid that it's not clear enough what exact problem you have. What exact error have you received? When exactly have you received it? Please describe all you actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step. What version and build number of Acronis True Image you have? Please create Acronis Report in the way described below: - Download and run Acronis Report Utility; - Select the "Create Bootable Floppy" option; - Insert a blank floppy disk in the A: drive and proceed with creation of the bootable floppy; - Boot the computer from this diskette and wait for report creation process to finish; - Collect the report file from the floppy. Please create an account, then log in and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution. Thank you. -- Tatyana Tsyngaeva
