SafeWeb's Holes Contradict Claims
By Declan McCullagh

SafeWeb's anonymous-surfing technology turns out not to be very safe after all.

A pair of researchers has unearthed flaws in the CIA-funded product that contradict the company's claims of "complete privacy" and reveal the supposedly confidential information of customers.

I find it amazing that anyone would trust an "anonymising" service funded by an intelligence-gathering outfit!

You are oh so right! It was all the bad publicity that shut down Safeweb's free anonymizing service.

We should all be aware of the major companies that are at least partly funded by InQTel, the CIA's technology "investment company."

Boycott ALL of these companies!

Browse3D
Graviton
IntelliSeek
MediaSnap
Mohomine
Northern Light
SafeWeb
Systems Research & Development (SRD)
Stratify
Tacit Knowledge Systems
Traction Software
Zaplet
and there's more!
