Prevx1 reporting snagit 725 as malware

Hello. I have Prevx1 11019 and it's reporting snagit as malware - anyone else?:

* This program has a file name of SNAGIT32.EXE. It has a file size of 3,719,168 bytes and is found in the folder [%PROGRAMFILES%\TECHSMITH\SNAGIT 7\] or [?:\PROGRAM FILES\TECHSMITH\SNAGIT 7\] and at least one other folder.


* This program states it is produced by TechSmith Corporation.


* This program has been seen in operation.


* This program communicates with other systems in a network or across the Internet and may transmit information to 3rd parties. It can communicate with Internet sites using Http protocols.


* This program was first seen by our users on Oct 28 2005. Only 103 users have seen this specific version of this program on their PC. Our users have run this program at least 42 times. It was last seen by one of our users on Nov 16 2005. There are 73 versions of this program in use within our user base.

This is very strange . Prevx 1 has never identified Tech Smiths Snagit as anything other than safe on my machine . Might want to report this to Paul or Doug at Prevx

I have no idea if this was sent or not.

Yes, we got your support message. I've just replied to it. Basically, to investigate we need the unique number of the process.

You can get this by double clicking on the process in the Jail or recent program activity list. The web page that will be displayed will identify the unique number for the process.

Once we have the unique number we'll investigate.

How about it's going back to the vendor site to check whether an updated version is available? In effect, false positive.
