Problems with build 788

    Anyone tried build 788 yet? Everytime I try to run a spyware sweep it demands my licence key (again) but won't accept it. I tried uninstall and re-install (with the correct key of course which was fine at install) and same problem again.

    Also I can never open the program first time I try. I have to kill it and launch again or log off and log back on again.

    This is a poor build - I'd avoid it if I were you. think I might try to go back to 748

  3. I also experienced problems with build 788:

    First time I tried to start it - only a blank window came up. Had to kill it in the task manager (kitm). After a second try it started.

    If I tried to configure shield.exe - no response - kitm.

    If I tried to run shield.exe - no response.

    After that I gave up and uninstalled the whole programme, so I don't know whether there were any more bugs.

    How can registered users with Power Utilities get the updates for Privacy Expert?
    I seem to be able to only download the Power Utilities and the new build is not part of that package, from what it looks like.
    Thoughts/Ideas?

    You should do the following to get Acronis Privacy Expert Suite 8.0 update:

    - Please register your account
    - Then register your software at Acronis support database
    - Select registered product in your account
    - Choose Acronis Power Utilities 2005 in List of your registered products
    - Then you should see the following: "Last available update: build #614, 2005-05-26. Get update", please select this link and download the latest build of Acronis "Privacy Expert Suite 8.0.

    I have done this but I keep getting build 748.
    I would like to get the latest release before I say "Hey" I have a problem.
