Default Update of 'DiskDirectorSuite9.0' & 'TrueImage8.0'

What is the correct procedure to update 'Disk Director Suite 9.0' & 'True Image 8.0'? One of the forum entries states that it is OK to install 'True Image' over the current install, and a different forum entry states - while it may be necessary to "Un-Install" 'Disk Director Suite' before applying the update! I would expect that a single procedure would apply to both products as they come from the same software house! PLEASE, eliminate the confusion.............Don

Hello 6retired22,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Usually you don't need to uninstall previous build (or version) of Acronis software, be it Acronis True Image or Acronis Disk Director. However, if you get some problem with the program it may be worth trying to uninstall previous version and then install the new one from scratch.

Thank you.
