I created an image from a 20 gig laptop drive....then turned around and put that image onto a 30 gig drive. The only problem is, when I put the 30 gig into the laptop it still only sees it as a 20 gig drive!
Any thoughts ? |

Hello --
most likely the rest of the drive is unallocated as you restored the image without resizing. So you either need to format the rest of the driev so Windows sees it, or simply do a new restore with resizing your data according to the space of the new drive. Thank you.

I take it the resize option when restoring the image isnt available when booting from the restore CD?? I am having this same problem and cant find anywhere wher I can set the size of the restored partition.
