When I want to explore an image archive Acronis must assign a logical drive letter to the partition I want to browse. During this step I get an error message: "Cannot assign a drive letter to a partition of the image archive". Can anyone help solving this problem, because I need data from this archive.

Hi
I'm in the same boat. Please read the earlier thread 'Can't explore image' You might be lucky and find something there that helps. I'm still looking for an answer.

I tried several suggestions in your thread and eventually I was able to assign a virtual drive letter and brouwse the archive and retrieve lost data.
Thanks for your help. Regards, Fred Derks |
