Hello I would like to know if there is any comparative, test or review about this software.
What makes special this soft? it's cloud, free, low resources...?
It's only an on-demand scanner or it also protects on real time?

Why the files that are uploaded to the cloud are hidden? how do I know what is being uploaded? doc files? only executables?... it shoulc be like hitman pro where you see what's going on.

What is in the cloud? is a proprietary engine of Kristal or it's a multi engine/vendor cloud?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Yes, no installation needed.

Program just creates user settings files after first program launch.
User settings files will be created under user "AppData" folder.

Kardo

Hello,

There is no really any strategy to make money.

Yeah, I thought about some kind of donation options for users but then I decided to not make this option.
I just like to keep it free and I am happy enough if this program helps someone and I am opened for co-operations with companies or other people.

Regards,
Kardo

Hello,

Thank you for your interest!

You can find some review and articles about Crystal Security program from google. At the moment there is no detection/removal tests of program.

Program is light with cloud and whitelist/blacklist based detection. You can use it as real-time protection and/or on-demand scanner.
Crystal Security is compatible with other security software. It also uses low memory is free. You can specify what file types to scan/upload from settings (under custom protection level).

Program uses several engines like Nictatech, Clean-MX, Malekal...
Also is added into latest Beta internal-whitelist. In total: Several cloud-based engines, user-based whitelist/blacklist and internal whitelist.

Thank you about some good ideas.

Regards,
Kardo

Hello,

I have some news for all users of my program.

The program will get a whole new upgrade and it is called at the moment:

PROJECT SECURITY X

Whole program is using all available network sources to help to identify file.
User can upload and analyse files with next sources:

+ VirusTotal
¤ Uploading supported
¤ Re-analysing supported
¤ Simple results for novice users
¤ Advanced results for advanced users

+ CAMAS
¤ Uploading supported
¤ Simple results for novice users
¤ Advanced results for advanced users

+ CIMA
¤ Uploading supported
¤ Re-analysing supported
¤ Simple results for novice users
¤ Advanced results for advanced users

+ Built-in heuristic analysis
+ Cloud databases [Online]
¤ Nictatech
¤ Malc0de
¤ VX Vault
¤ Clean MX

You can identify whole computer or individual files with all noted resources via one program.
Application will be absolutely for FREE because program is using fully public free sources for identification.

All identification sources used in program will be noted.

If there is someone who can help me with suggestions & ideas then please let me know.
I am working right now with project and hope to release application soon.

Regards,
Kardo

Hi Kardo,
I downloaded beta version from your page - it's Crystal Security 2.5.6.32. Is it that one about what have you mentioned?

Hello,

@ siketa:

Absolutely correct and thank you for helping with answers

@ ichito:

Thank you for your interest

P.S: Automatic upload to VirusTotal, CIMA and CAMAS is done in program.
Now I have to build methods for Simple and Advanced reports + GUI and Settings before I can release first version of PROJECT SECURITY X.

Regards,
Kardo

Kardo,

does this mean that Crystal Security, as we know it, is abandoned?
Or is it incorporated into this new product?

Hello,

It is actually very good question and honestly i don´t know the answer right now.
I´ll have to think about it but if you have any suggestion between 2 projects please let me know.

At this time my plan is to release Project Security X as a separate security tool.

Regards,
Kardo

What data are you going to use from NovCon? From what I could see they get data from Clean-MX and Malc0de. So, I don't think there's a need for NovCon.

Nice to see you're alive and well.

Hello,

Good to see you too. Thanks.

Thank you for information. I will not include NovCon as you pointed
out that this site is using Clean-MX and Malc0de.

Hello,

Here is preview video of Project Security X tool.

It is recommended to watch video in HD.

Video link:

Please note that program in video is not complete yet and video is provided to show
how program will analyze the file with several public sources.

Also program GUI is very basic at the moment.

In Video you can see that CIMA result is ERROR. I believe it is CIMA server problem.
I tried before several files with no luck...yesterday all worked with CIMA.

I Hope you like program idea and if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Regards,
Kardo
