I was expecting after all this time some new features or major changes but this will be enough to play with it again.

They need to make the pop ups clear and easy to understand, otherwise no one is going to use/ buy it. Very simple indeed.

Still, kind of makes it hard for me to invest $30-40 for lifetime license. A security company cannot go missing just like that. I also sent them email 1 month ago and received no response. Also really bad for security company, definitely not someone you want to rely on.

Very true! I own both the Spyshelter and the Spyshelter Firewall but never use it.

Best regards,

Is the new beta version makes the system as bloated and unresponsive even on medium security as the old version.

Best regards,

Best regards,

Must be only on your computer. It's not the normal behavior, if you are having issues report a bug.

Many people in the past have written about this issue on this forum, especially it being too hips heavy.

BTW, my post #13 above is a question and not an statement. For this reason, the sentence starts with "Is", but I forgot to end the sentence with a question mark and I ended the sentence with a period

Best regards,

I have a license for the firewall version so I decided to give it another go. Installed new edition with no issues. Running good.

I notice that Brothersoft.com is offering to download this.
A dubious download site with history of hosting malware.

At Brothersoft.com one can download a host of security software from some that are very top notch in their field, one can also download from Brothersoft.com some very questionable software.
Personally I would never download anything from Brothersoft.com.

Mini Review;

SS developers add win8x64 support partially. So i looked it.
on win8x64 systems;

-SS can block their own keylogger test.
-SS cant block their own clipboard, screenlogger test.
-SS cant block zemana's keylogger test. (Also zemana cant block their own test on win8x64 system: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=337147)

But They add keystroke encryption on this version. default is enabled. if it is enabled, it encrypt keystrokes (like keyscramber) so SS pass Zemana test.

Also i test it with old AKLT test,
it doesnt protect against; "getrawdatainput", "getkeyboardstate"
off course when i enable keystrokes encryption, aklt catch random number only.

i think, SS is best anti-keylogger on x64 systems but Win8 is new and support is partial yet. i hope they can add fully support asap.

It is nice to hear this development.

I'd like to add that I am GLAD because finally, the link to top4 dot com in their website is gone!!!
