Do you plan create option to scanning selected folder?

Hello,

Thank you for your support and feedback!

I will make translators corner for Crystal Security program translators.

I can see from picture, that you are testing/using Crystal Security on Windows 8 - I will send PM because of your both error: Alert about files and System Checkup.

Your problems when using programs will be fixed before the final version.

Program is using your mentioned cloud database + file aged based heuristic analysis...

About custom scan - try to drag/drop folder into Crystal Security main GUI listview (into listview where you can see: Object | Time | Classification | Result).

Regards,
Kardo

This is just theme (http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&se...theme#/d59vtny)
I uploaded your program to avira lab, because avira detects your program as malware.

Thanks, but why I can scan only files with exe extension? I can't add files with another extension to listview. Now alerts works properly.

Thanks! I hope that false positive detection problem about my program is soon solved because i removed 'License' center feature from program what caused this false positive and still even without 'License' center feature some vendors detect my program as malicious....

At the moment it is configured that it will scan only .exe extensions via Custom scan - Custom scan feature will be improved and i will add other extensions into custom scan

Hello,

Thank you for your information!

From there we can see one disadvantage of cloud....

One vendor always report my program as malicious, even updated program from where i removed completely feature what caused false positive.

Kardo

Hello,

License center caused false positive issue...
You can find License button from previous versions of Crystal Security.
License center is already removed with few last updates and still vendors show that it is malicious....

Kardo

I studied German in high school many decades ago...

verb: to mean > bedeuten > Ich bedeute > I mean > Dies bedeutet > This means

A wonderful language...here ends the lesson.

Hello,

@ Mops21:

Thank you for your information about Avira false positive report.

Also +1 for Avira.

At the moment there are still some vendors what report my program as malicious.

@ Robot_Z:

No, it will not add right click context menu but if you like to scan
specific file then drag/drop executable file or folder with files inside into Main GUI listview and Crystal Security will scan these files.

Regards,
Kardo

Hello,

Update released - Version: 2.4.0.23

Added:

* Checkup on Start (new setting)

# If this setting enabled then System Checkup starts
automatically at Program Startup.

* Normal Checkup (new setting)

# Normal scan mode during System Checkup.

* Advacned Checkup (new setting)

# Advanced scan mode during System Checkup.
Recommended for experts. This mode may generate more false positives
but it also help to detect more suspicious objects.

Fixed:

* Several minor bugs

Improved:

* System Checkup module

Note: This version is also successfully tested on Windows 8 Release Preview (32-bit).

If all well then next release will be final version.

Download link: -http://content.wuala.com/contents/crystalsecurity/Public/Crystal%20Security%202.4.0.23/Crystal%20Security.exe?dl=1

Any feedback welcome!

Regards,
Kardo

Hello,

Not yet but iŽll do it.

Just after update v2.4.0.23 I uploaded it to VirusTotal and 3 vendors still show my program as malicious.
While ago i already contacted with BitDefender but they still detect it and thanks to this detect it F-Secure and
G-DATA because they use the same database as BitDefender. All other vendors show my program as Clean.

Regards,
Kardo
