Default Questions???

Background: I only do full backups to an external harddrive.
Normally, i would delete the .tib files, remove the secure zone and
de-activate the recovery manager.
Then i would create a full image (new one), turn on the security zone and
re-activate the recovery manager.

Questions:

1. If i have a full image on an external harddrive and i de-frag it, do i need to create another image?

2. Do i need to re-do the Secure Zone every time i remove a full image and create a new one?

3. Do i need to create new bootable cd/floppies every time i remove a full image and create a new one?

4. Do i need to de-activate/re-activate the recovery manager every time i remove a full image and create a new one?

Thank you,
clif

Hi savagcl,

No, you do not need to do any of that.

But why defrag an image, it's better if you defrag the local drive before making an image of it onto the external.

Also, I'd only make a new bootable if I updated True Image.

Hello --

I have to agree with Selvan777, the only thing you better do is create a new bootable media if you update your Acronis True Image.

Thank you.
