Security software that protects you from online attacks is commonplace nowadays, but what about physical attacks on your hardware? What if your laptop goes missing while traveling or your workstation at your office gets stolen in a burglary? I was oddly drawn to this sentence:

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure there's a word missing. Trillion? Quadrillion? I can only assume that the author couldn't decide which one to use and mistakenly left it out entirely.

Cracking a 128 bit key by brute force would take longer than the age of the Sun even if using all the computers on earth. So, yeah, his "several years" comment is wrong.

Thanks for letting us know about this. Actually the author wrote that article in German and used "million" but the English translator accidently left it out.
