My PC (windows 7) started acting up and I noticed my Ctrl key was always activated even with a different plug-in keyboard. The IE icon would not open, etc. All sort of bazarre things were happening with Windows 7.
I ran ESET NOD32 scans twice. Both time ESET displayed 4 infected files that could not be cleaned. I clicked on the action drop down and ESET closed out. No infected files are in quarantine. I "think" this virus may have come from Steam while playing MW3. If there a virus/malware fix I can download to clean these files? I have read of similar viruses on other forums. Thanks, Mike |

Is there a name anywhere on that scan result, a Trojan, Worm, Bot?

No one has ever been infected with malware through Steam itself.
