I was looking for a free sound-editing program, after checking out many programs I saw something strange. I found 3 programs which almost look identical, they are distributed by 3 "different" companies from the USA, but have a digital signature from one single company in China which I can't find any info about, called Tsingsoft Imagination Information Technology Co. What do you think, is it to be trusted or not?

    - Power Sound Editor Free v7.6.2 (PowerSE Co. Ltd, location Nevada USA): http://www.free-sound-editor.com (file size: 21,9 MB (22.984.216 bytes))

Not a scam but almost. It's the same product re-branded over and over by the same author. Not free at all - the audio editing programs listed on their sites are available in a very limited ''free'' version and once installed invite users to upgrade by paying different $$$. You should try Wavosaur, Audacity, or Ocenaudio.

Yeah, I tried it. It's nice, but the interface needs some getting used to.. :cautious:

LOL, I had a laugh checking out those websites you posted :D All the same programs... Some software review websites gave some of those programs a pretty good editorial rating for the free version though.

I wonder how much money they are making on this?
