good luck.

amin I know the story about Comodo Vs. AV-C, to take the long story short Melih (Comodo CEO) don't trust CIS result been out even if in public he talk something different in a real confusing way
CIS AV had a very very poor % as you can see here
http://www.melih.com/2011/11/27/av-c...virus-vendors/
only 89.4% is not a great job
Here AVC reply that i agree too
http://www.av-comparatives.org/forum...&threadID=1054
My english is poor so I can't exply what I think about "mr" Melih
You can simply read and make your personal opinion
I personaly use CIS because is a great software (I don't use comodo AV due poor reputation and test result) but I don't like or trust is management or his way of solve user's issue and so on ..

All of this for you understand that CIS is not tested now and in the future too for obvious reasons

lol ! a meteor pass over the thread...

As i like to repeat, test labs means nothings, they are just a piece of information in a given time: different methodologies, different samples, different focuses, different IT level, etc... so what is good today for one may be bad for the other.

I will start to give them credits when a worldwide standard methodology will be recognized.

Also, we are just spectators of the show, no one knows truly what happens behind the their curtains...AV business is business with lot of money in game.

Thanks for reading.

Pray tell why? Have you been infected? Have you contacted them for a refund?

I've offered personal assistance to no response so far - if someone is having that bad of an experience, I definitely want to fix it. We just aren't seeing that from anyone else.

Some people would rather ignore Joe's offer of help to possibly fix their issue, and instead take this as reason to make a negative YouTester review and incite hatred for a product and generate views on their channel.

Kaspersky and Qihoo both topped the results with Bitdefender and G-Data closely behind. Bullguard was most resistant to infections.

If you MUSt install MBAM, then you can do so AFTER you install Bitdefender Internet Security or Kaspersky Internet Security then setup exclusions but this is an absolute waste of system resources and simply is asking for trouble even if they would work together, but having 2 security programs scan the same file is just insane and overkill.

Being a Webroot advocate and fan I'll be the first to say it this time...

Webroot's result is... *drumroll*...

Still horrible.

I swear I would not do this, but hell, burn the last bridges over Tokyo.

WSA is and will always be, something that hopefully makes more money then it costs to create. I honestly can not fathom this product on the market in a year surviving. Prevx was one of a kind and the downfall from a product standpoint was the Webroot accq.

The problem with WSA is that it really isnt user friendly from a lame mans view point. It gets so cumbersome to go through module after module. I still think that one day, Webroot will ressurect Prevx, because they have no choice.

No worries about burned bridges, although it's still me leading the development team so I'll definitely take your suggestions to heart

I have to say that I don't disagree at all and you usually are a harsh voice of reason. Expect a PM from me soon

you folks have everything needed to make this work. Listening to the wrong sayers though doesnt work anymore. This product should be install and forget and simplicity is what is needed. I have no doubt that 2013 will acomplish this.

It's good to see Bitdefender doing so well. Particuarly since I'm using Roboscan which users Bitdefender's engine (alongside their own) and is free.

Also, Roboscan let's you install it with Malwarebytes installed. However, I'm guessing it would be best disable Malwarebyte's real time protection.

As long as they don't remove the few essential settings that were missing from Prevx 3.0...like non-administrator setting restrictions.

I'm not sure I fully agree with your feedback. The per module settings are DEFINITELY quite excessive as I have told Joe before...in fact I was ranting about how the saving of configuration files included the license key because I wanted to set Webroot up once and then transfer those settings from computer to computer, even PCs that were on different licenses.
