You can download and Run AVCleaner2012.

The AntiVirus Cleaner removes all traces of any G Data product that were not removed during an ordinary uninstall procedure. This tool might be needed to enable a complete new installation of the software. This tool does not remove any other antivirus packages other than G Data.

Manually uninstalling a plugin

If you can't use an uninstaller program to remove a plugin, you can remove it manually:

In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter.
The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.
Search for the preference: plugin.expose_full_path.
Double-click on the plugin.expose_full_path preference in the list to change the value to true.
Enter about:plugins into the Location bar to display the About Plugins page.
Each entry in the About Plugins page will have "File name:" followed by a path. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder shown for the plugin you want to remove.
Rename the file to something other than its normal name - e.g. npswf32 becomes Xnpswf32
Double-click on the plugin.expose_full_path preference in the list on the about:config page to change the value back to false to avoid exposing the plugin path to websites.

The plugin will be removed.

The problem with this reply ronjor is that the BankGuard™ is not a plugin but an extension. It's located in your Mozilla install directory usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\extensions on X64 systems. This is the ID <em:id>{906305f7-aafc-45e9-8bbd-941950a84dad}</em:id>.

So...

On most systems to remove this crap you need to delete the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\extensions\{906305f7-aafc-45e9-8bbd-941950a84dad}

BTW I decided to migrate from NOD to this Gdata software because of detection rates... Well I can tell you compared to Eset Gdata is a BLOATED BUGGY POS IMHO! Forget the detection rates etc...

It's the most bloated AV I've ever seen and I actually FELT the performance hit on an i7 Ivy Bridge rig!

Pathetic!

Back to NOD32/MBAMpro/OutpostPro
