@Carver I uninstalled Chrome with Revo Uninstaller (advanced) but before I could select to remove the registry items, remnants etc. it decided to close and therefore left me with the remnants. I should have installed Chrome again and not have let it close on me. Would have been nice to have had a Chrome uninstaller tool. |

I must have imagined it. I have a feeling I was somewhere over Worcester when it happened.

It's probably a Daveski thing. I don't have too much of a clue most of the time! Unless it was because I am normally signed in & it was just recommending that I sign back in.

That might be the case (the normally signed in thing). Google doesn't particularly care for people leaving them Anyway, I can't replicate anything here either. |

Chrome is the best browser in my opinion.
Chrome = fastest browsing speed, good performance, strong security, easy to use Downside: lacks customization |

I dunno, it has a fair few extensions. It isn't as fast as Maxthon though.

For me Firefox is more reliable right now. Google Chrome has been sluggish for me lately and lastPass works bad with it...

i use the comodo dragon browser which is a variant of chrome.
Its very robust and fast. The only pitfall for me is the amount of crap it dumps on the hard drive. Other than that there are no problems. ![]()

For the last few days I've been using nothing but Chrome.
Opera was having some issues with rendering too many web pages, so I decided to give Chrome another try. So far so good.

i've been using it here and there but on Firefox right now.
i really hope NoScript can be 'ported' over to Chrome at some point. i really like the speed of Chrome and the built-in sandboxing. things i am not crazy about are the spell checkers and the lack of customization.

Chrome... came for the speed, stayed for the security.

I've been considering Dragon lately, but I'm not sure if I want to give up the built-in Flash. I like not having to use Adobe's installer/updater at all, although this wouldn't be a big deal for people who use Flash in multiple browsers. The PDF reader is nice too, and although you can borrow a copy of the DLL to use it in Dragon, I wonder how often that would have to be updated. |

Just switched, got tired of waiting for 64bit FF, tried Palemoon and Waterfox but for some reason they just didn't feel the same. I wish that firefox became less bloated, like it used to be in version 3.xx. After that, the memory requirement skyrocketed.

I do not right now on XP Pro. Firefox just runs fantastic on this box right now, and I've gotten so used to it.
But it looks Taylor Made for Win7. If/when I upgrade to that OS I'll seriously consider making the switch. If they can get ScriptNo functioning like NoScript by then, it may just be the deal maker.

But dragon and chrome are bloated to hell...13 processes running sometimes plus updaters etc taking more processing time. Big thumbs down from me to chrome.
