I have a half dozen or so flash videos that I need to crop out 10-15 second segments, join them together to make a 3 minute video and then put that video to music. The audio of the edited videos cannot be part of the final video...only the song the videos are put to can be the sound.
What would be the easiest to use video program to use? I guess it just needs to be able to crop, join and put to music. thanks

Here's another one with the same question, has seemed quite hopeless to find anything good and free

I found an old key that worked on a paid video trimmer and joiner. Now I have a flv file of the video. But I still need to extract the old sound (mp3?) and insert a different one. Any ideas?

You can use freeware Avidemux for splitting, joining, adding or replacing audio/video (flv supported).
