Default Nod32 Email won't allow me to open messages in Outlook

I just upgrades my Nod32 version from 4x to the latest 5x (antivirus that is). Now, for some reason, when I have email security enabled, all of my message headers are redownloading from the server and I cannot open any of the emails. Every time I attempt to open an email, the email list jumps, moves my cursor to the next email, and won't display anything. It's like a never ending cycle since NOD32 won't allow me to open any emails.

I enjoy this product, but I must have email protection and the only work-around I have found so far is removing the email protection.

Any help is much appreciated!

You can try running the ESET Uninstaller utility from Windows Safe Mode, and then reinstall your version 5 antivirus product with the 'default settings'. Be sure to test whether you are experiencing any issues with the ESET antivirus client uninstalled, and then reinstall version 5 of your ESET product, and monitor whether the issue has been resolved. You can also contact ESET Customer Care for further assistance, and they can request diagnostic files, in order to resolve your issue:

First off, thank your for responding! I really appreciate it.

So let me ask you this...why would this change anything? I don't have any customized settings in there, nor did I before other than a couple of small exclusions due to the high ekrn.exe CPU usage, but this shouldn't affect email at all.

Not trying to be difficult or unappreciative, but on the surface it doesn't sound like this is going to solve anything. I do like NOD32 though, so before I replace with another software, I'll try this.

Thanks for the suggestion. Let me know if you have any other ideas.

taking it back to default appeared to work. It didn't change a single setting in the Email section, but whatever. Thanks!!
