I'm having some issues when attempting to install NOD32 on a Home Server OS (Windows Home Server 2011 - not the first one). I get this error message when trying to install:
"This product version is not intended for server operating systems." However, this link states that NOD32 5.x is compatible with Windows Home Server versions 2008 and 2011. Is there any way around this "glitch" so I can install NOD32? Thanks! |

Those instructions don't really help me much, it's when I start the installer I get that error message.

Double downloaded that, still getting the error.
Thanks for the compliment though! ![]() |

Hello,
Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the error message? Regards, Aryeh Goretsky

I've attached the screenshot as requested! Thanks!
EDIT: Using the "fancy" installer, I get the same message just in a fancier error box. Also, this is via remote desktop." Last edited by Diablosblizz : April 30th, 2012 at 11:34 PM. |

I'll ask our marketers and testers about v5 and Home Server support and will let you know then.

Like I said in the first post:
http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page...=1335754516405 That link says V5 is compatible with both Home Server versions. I hope it is, if not then that page needs to be updated cause it's misleading! Thanks for all your help guys! |

EDIT: Installing it from the actual machine seemed to have worked.
