I sometimes flip between browsers, but when it comes down to it, the must-haves are Comodo Firewall, Avast Anti-Virus and Malwarebytes Pro. Sandboxie is very nice too.

If only they could make a browser with the security of Chrome, the interface of Internet Explorer 9, the extensions of Firefox and the speed of Opera... I'd use that.

There was just too much conflict with my other security software. Firefox started giving error messages, boot up slowed down, RunSafer of OA would not function on browsers, email clients, pdf readers, etc. I just gave up after both Emsisoft and Webroot Support said I had just too much AV and they were bound to conflict. So I gave away WSA to my friends and family. And put EAM one of my sony vio pcs all alone. So no more conflicts. I will put Ubuntu next year on my netbook as XP supports ends in 2 years. Meanwhile, I'm using the setup on my sig on 3 of pcs........

Well, at least you still got Sandboxie. I never would of thought you would get rid of WSA though. Too bad you were having problems with your previous setup.

I got rid of Comodo Internet Security Premium, replaced it with avast! Antivirus and went back to Windows 7's built in Firewall. Doing that has freed up a few processes, and has brought a tiny bit of my memory back up. I added a few more additions to my arsenal of security....Secunia PSI for making sure all my apps are patched, System Explorer to make sure my processes are secured and safe and a File & Drive Wiper/Shredder program called Hardwipe. I also ended up adding Easylist and EasyPrivacy subscriptions to my AdBlock extension.

EAM is good, glad you kept that one as well. Is there anything you suggest on tightening up the security in Sandboxie, besides a few restrictions and Dropmyrights? I am wanting to make it as strong as possible.

A question for those who own Appguard, is it a one time fee for a lifetime license...Or is it subscription based?
