Default Unable to install NOD32 V5 on Windows Home Server 2011

I'm having some issues when attempting to install NOD32 on a Home Server OS (Windows Home Server 2011 - not the first one). I get this error message when trying to install:

"This product version is not intended for server operating systems."

However, this link states that NOD32 5.x is compatible with Windows Home Server versions 2008 and 2011. Is there any way around this "glitch" so I can install NOD32?

Thanks!

Those instructions don't really help me much, it's when I start the installer I get that error message.

Thumbs up Re: Unable to install NOD32 V5 on Windows Home Server 2011

Hey there Diabloblizz!

Love the name! Just want to make sure you're using the following link to install:

DOWNLOAD
That link points to the 64bit version of NOD32, which of course you need.

Double downloaded that, still getting the error. Thanks for the compliment though!

Hello,

Would it be possible to get a screenshot of the error message?

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky

I've attached the screenshot as requested! Thanks!

EDIT: Using the "fancy" installer, I get the same message just in a fancier error box. Also, this is via remote desktop."

I'll ask our marketers and testers about v5 and Home Server support and will let you know then.

Like I said in the first post:

http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page...=1335754516405

That link says V5 is compatible with both Home Server versions. I hope it is, if not then that page needs to be updated cause it's misleading!

Thanks for all your help guys!

EDIT: Installing it from the actual machine seemed to have worked.
