One word........WOW.

So good and even on my (very) modest hardware. And throw 5 years worth of support into the bargain. Welcome to my new OS.

Did a clean install, quite frankly I am hard put to see any difference between 12.04 and 11.10, not counting the icon-only-task manager and one or two new programs in the repositories.
I noticed that Akonadi Tray service is disabled (probably by default).
Sometimes the device notifier is unable to show free space.
Seems to use slightly less memory than 11.10 probably due to fewer widgets currently
running.
All in all very nice as was 11.10.

I wonder if anyone has ever managed to change the theme details; eg. you have the air theme
and want the naked theme or any other theme for the panel only.

Still busy installing what I had in 11.10. What about kdenlive should I use sunab's experimental repo https://launchpad.net/~sunab/+archive/kdenlive-svn ?
(I think I will as I used it with 11.10 sans problems).
