Here's an open question for the WSA support staff:

Is an updated release of WSA beyond the current .165 version expected anytime soon??

Done that - thanks.

Very nice results for WSA Antivirus and Essentials in the 2012 Consumer Security Products Performance Benchmarks (Edition 4) dated 18 April 2012.

See this thread for details: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=322835

And they were still testing 8.0.66, so it's already better now too.

Then I actually looked at the report. This is the same old report for most of the products, they just folded extra products and an SSD test into the works. So it's the exact same WSA test as the ones before, just proving that WSA still beats the new things they add to the test.

Two of my ex wives are on the license
for Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete,
so the support calls have been cut by
two thirds.

Their computer OSs perkier, mine too.

I am too.

I bought an Android phone which had Lookout
pre installed, so I felt secure to uninstall it.

Yeah, yeah, I have to hack everything I get.

I hacked my marriages and they didn’t survive it,
but I didn’t brick my phone.

I did get two friends
out of the marriages.

Now I only have two real time security applications,
Webroot and the Windows XP firewall.

Do you really call a Firewall real time in the sense
as a real time antimalware?

Sandboxie only part time, runs when I sandbox an app, such as a browser;
SpywareBlaster only runs the few seconds it takes to set killbits after an update;
Threatfire just lays in wait until something bad happens.

The other security apps I have, either diagnostic
or on demand scanners, don't move until I use them.

The resource use of my security, CPU, ram, and vm is way under 5 percent on average.

I sit under an olive tree with a glass of lemonade,
at my ease look through the fence at folk who struggle
with other, more traditional antimalware suites
or anti viruses.

I use a suite that uses fewer system
resources than some anti viruses.

I continue my record of no infections
into another decade and it's because
I'm either wise enough or lucky enough
to have chosen Webroot.

I tell my kin, kith, and friends
it’s wisdom.

Hey, when you gonna change the name of this forum?

Change it to
Folk Who Sit At Ease On The Secure Side Of The Fence -

or Webroot.

I think this would have been funnier if Webroot's ease-of-use saved one of your marriages...lol...

"My wife and I were at the tip of the volcano in things to argue about and one of those things happened to be me scanning her comp daily and she hated waiting 50 minutes but then WSA came along and now it's just 1 minute. That gave is 99 things to argue about instead of 100, saving our marriage as we had a 100 current argument cap."

I have several unused 12 month, 3 PC licences for Webroot Internet Security Essentials 2011
Is it possible when I convert these to WRSA to amalgmate them into a single multi-year licence, instead of several separate 1 year licences?

All you can do is ask WSA support and they will let you know! https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp?

I continue to be VERY happy with WSA Essentials and still recommend that those on the fence concerning this product download, install, and test this software during the trial period. If you don't like it, that's fine; BUT, I think you will recognize WSA as a unique product, just as I did....

Here's another open question for the WSA support staff:

Is an updated production release of WSA beyond the current .177 version expected anytime soon??

If you give a mouse a cookie... XD

WSA has been updating almost weekly or every other week, with more updates occurring in a month than many other programs have in half a year. So that question shouldn't need to be asked, IMHO, because the answer to "Will it update soon?" has been a consistent "Yes" since it was released last year.

For you fans of "brick & mortar" stores, Target has apparently permanently reduced their price on WSA Essentials 3-user to $35 in the good-old-US-of-A. I saw this price reduction a couple of weeks ago, and I am happy to report that it is still for sale at this same price. The store-sticker just says "now reduced" on it....

I noticed that over at 'DownloadCrew' the offer was still running so.....
I got my cleverbridge reference number 3 hours ago & cleverbridge are usually quick.
Perhaps it has run out and they are not telling anyone, just taking the money

Ho-Hum

Have got my license key & raised a ticket asking for the conversion.
Then I noticed posts 32/33 which seemed to conflict.
Can I just install WSA and use the 2011 key

You can use a 2011 key in WSA without a problem.

I have and they have tried but no luck!!
Uninstalled/re-installed etc.

I have noticed that all the keys I have seen in demos etc use at least some lower case.
My code is all alpha upper case!

Right now I have no AV at all
