Default Volume Snapshot problem

Hi, New to Macs so please bear with me. Late 2011 Macbook Pro, OSX Lion. Win 7 in Bootcamp. I run Volume Snapshot Select Mac partition select external Firewire HD for backup, put in admin password and get a message" Hold down power button till comp shuts off then press again to restart. I guess this is the Mac version of BSOD- so what now??
Thanks

Default Re: Volume Snapshot problem

If anybody is interested, Paragon replied to my ticket today and said Volume Snapshot will crash 10.7 and they have no immediate plans to fix it.

Refund is the only option

Paragon Volume Snapshot is not compatible with 10.7 Lion. Company is not planning to release an update in the nearest future.
