I can enter web store.

Edit: You are right, Antisocial is breaking the web store. I switched to Fanboy's Annoyance!

No. It's redundant with this:
Fanboy Ultimate List (This includes Main Adblock List, Tracking List, Enhanced Trackers List and Annoyances List)

Interesting how Evidon claims to have the key to 'better' advertising while their backers continue to poison the public sphere with it by systematically attracting and exploiting our attention. As for their 'privacy solutions', we wouldn't need them in the first place if companies would simply stop spying on us.

Evidon's attempt at engineering consent might lead to the false assumption among the public that as critically reflecting private people, they contribute responsibly to what is essentially a form of capitalist exploitation of their private sphere.

If you're using easylist+easylist privacy and fanboyz annoyance no problem.
Are fanboyz's list localized ?

EasyPrivacy just covers what Fanboy’s Tracking List covers. You also want Fanboy’s Enhanced Tracking List if you want to block everything, things like Google-Analytics for example.

As for localization. He says:

English Websites and also some ads on other Region/Language Websites
http://www.fanboy.co.nz/index.html

If you find it’s not enough you can add a regional list http://www.fanboy.co.nz/regional.html

But I think most would be fine with either the complete or ultimate lists depending on your needs.http://www.fanboy.co.nz/filters.html

Nope. The reason it’s in the Enhanced Tracking List is because it can break things like Google+.

But I don’t use any kind of social networking so I want the Enhanced Tracking List, Annoyances, the works.

So ghostery is useless too because it doesn't blocks better ?

Well it’s not useless per se. If you are not using ABP it will protect your privacy. However, if you are already using ABP with Easyprivacy or Fanboys Tracking List you are far better off adding Fanboys Enhanced Tracking List and ditching Ghostery as you’ll get the same results except you’ll free up resources and speed up your browsing because you won’t have two extensions doing the same job. That’s why it’s redundant.

Would anyone using Ghostery 2.7.1 on Firefox please check whether "ooyala" figures in its databases? I don't see it in bugs.db, lsos.db, or surrogates.db. If it's indeed absent I wonder why?

On my Portable Apps Chrome version I have switched to Abine DNT due to consistent Ghostery crashing problems. My guess is that it is conflicting with Adblock Plus (Beta)1.2.0.769 in some way. Abine seems to have improved hugely.

My experience exactly too.

However with enable bug blocking & bug list updating, i'm content to keep it active and substitute AdBlock with another similar app that's compatible with it.

Yes, it was either replace one or t'other as I saw it. Ghostery was simple, light & did its job well on Chrome once upon a time. It's still working well on SeaMonkey/Firefox but on Chrome I decided I'd give the improved Abine a bit of a spin. Often, you can't beat simplicity.

Ghostery is much faster.
ScriptNo slowed things down roo much

I have recently uninstalled Ghostery from Firefox/SeaMonkey. I don't really need it as I'm running NoScript & RequestPolicy. Ghostery was fine IMO until it started to update every 5 mins & needed to tell me about it. I really prefer apps like this to do their job in the background & only alert me if the apocalypse is imminent or something.

It seems to be very similar to AVG DNT - maybe a nice alternative to Ghostery

guys what exactly happens if these are used together (I am at the moment):

NoScript + ghostery + ADBlock plus (EasyList / EasyPrivacy / Fanboy Ultimate List)?

should browsing be slower or are we talking about more CPU workload cos If I work on i5 2500k or similar I shouldn't really notice this?

BTW I'm not using any social networks / hate them / want them blocked completely on my machine if possible

edit: should I add Antisocial and Malware Domains to the ADB list or are they already on the fans ultimate list?

cheers.
