Stardock DeskScapes and Gamer Mode

Stardock DeskScapes triggers Gamer Mode on ESS 5. It only does so when the desktop is visible and no other window has focus. No other suite enables Gamer Mode when this is running, so I assume they have somehow excluded it. Will it be possible in the future for an exclusion to be set for this so it does not do it? It is not the worst problem in the world to have but it should be easy to identify and resolve. Or so I assume.
