We have two version there, the stable current version 0.14.0.9 and alfa version v.0.15 for testing objectives (it is a technical preview of 0.16 version). Could you see on your site, which link do you use, 0.14.0.9. or 0.15? tia.

Actually I was installing this on a real system not for testing otherwise I would have waited a bit and reported the bug. For the same reason I didn't choose the alpha...

The alpha still has high RAM usage and a buggy update bar (It had 283% as its percentage of update completed and then went to 100% a couple of seconds later). I'm not sure about the long installation time since I have a SSD as my way of storing the OS, etc.

It is a bit strange as we know about that problem (a buggy update bar) only in the current alfa, not beta. At the moment it was fixed, so next update of alfa (we hope it will be getting a new beta) has to work correctly.

Actually, I think you can send them via NANO AV's quarantine function.

I tested this & at this stage is not good. Kind of worthless. I tested both stable & alpha but both not good.

Thanx

What I meant was the detection is pretty low of zeroday malware. Hope once released officially & out of beta it is better.

Thanx

First impression is: why isn't the English page grammatically correct?
To me it seems you know good English.

Haven't tried Nano though.

Anyone tried the latest beta released on July 2 2012. Previously it was around 30-35 MB & now its whopping 250 MB. I guess they may have improved their databases & I also read in their forum that they also use some kind of whitelist to reduce FPs & generic signatures for databases.

Anyone tested the latest version & can give info hows the detection now?

Installed & Tested it with 26 Zero-Day Malware.

It requires 1GB RAM & I have 512MB RAM so the system was slower.

Just a static detection

26 Zero-Day Malware (Downloaded & Dated July 4 2012 on Malc0de)

NanoAV - Missed 16

Kingsoft AV 2012 - Missed 12

Avast AV Free PUP Enabled - Missed 6, PUP Disabled - Missed 9

Comodo AV Free - Missed 4
