Problems with creating an image

I have the new 12 version (free),

I have a laptop with an ssd and another HD in it.

hot processing is enabled.

I keep getting errors. "cant read volume data"

I have done the chkdsk on restart and no errors.

I reinstalled the program and will mention I previously got an error 121 (The semaphore timeout period has expired)

what can I do? thanks for your help.
