Default not seeing 3TB disk

so I have an XP Pro system, latest windows updates, etc. has a number of drives connected to the Intel G33 motherboard's SATA ports, I added a ST33000650 3TB drive... I see this disk in the Device Manager, but its not showing up in the Convert disk to GPT Wizard, only my other drives show up.

all drives are connected to Intel SATA controllers, my motherboard has the ICH9R. I've attached screenshots of the GPT manager, and my device manager showing the drives...

Default Re: not seeing 3TB disk

oops, problem resolved. in an earlier attempt to use this disk, before I realized that XP MBR couldn't see > 2TB, I'd tried converting it to a dynamic disk in Windows Disk Management.

I converted it back to Basic, THEN GPT Convert to GPT Wizard would see the disk. odd.
