Default is it possible to cancel a Moving partition Operation without corrupting the drive?

this is being done with bootable CD created by Partition manager pro 9. resizing 600GB to 450GB and leaving the 150GB as free space at the end of the drive. it looks like it will take a few months to complete. right now it's still at "Checking parameter... Checking files and directories..." step, with "Copied so far: 0.01MB", "Read so far: 2GB (0.9MB/s)" and "Write so far: 0 MB".
I wonder if i cancel the operation now, what the consequence will be??

Thanks

If it is not working then you have no option but to stop it and hope for the best.
