Default For those of you on the fence about WSA

First of all, I don't work for and am not in any way associated with Webroot Corp. With that said, I would like to say some kind words about Webroot's SecureAnywhere Essentials.

Do yourself a BIG favor: install it and try it out. I did and bought a 3-user versions of Essentials several weeks ago. I find it to be extremely well polished and useable in every way. I have run it by itself, with MBAM paid, with MSE, and with AVG paid. My current favorite is WSA + MBAM paid. btw, MBAM paid is $10 at Frys right now; I just bought three more licenses for it myself.

The forum guys are very helpful and I have found the support to be Most Excellent. As the say, your "highway mileage may vary" but I'm sticking with WSA for a LONG while....

Thumbs up Re: For those of you on the fence about WSA

Appreciate your comments. I just bought Complete a few weeks ago as I have 2 paid competitors that will soon expire. I run it with MBAM-Pro as well...seems very smooth. I am anxious to see how WSA performs on some of the independent tests...I'm sure they will give a very solid performance. I'm still getting familiar with the options but feel good about the online banking/keylogger protection.

Thumbs up Re: For those of you on the fence about WSA

For those of you STILL on the fence about WSA...

How many security vendors give you the direct contact address of their CEO?

Webroot does!

http://www.webroot.com/En_US/sites/dick-williams/
dwilliamsceo@webroot.com

That deserves a thumbs up sandwich!

BUT I'M NOT DONE YET...

The amazing clearance sale of 2011 Webroot products with a FREE upgrade license conversion to Webroot SecureAnywhere IS STILL GOING ON! ORDER RIGHT NOW!

(If you didn't already figure out, I'm doing Billy Mays.)

http://store.downloadcrew.com/p18893...ials_2011_5-pc

IMPORTANT...AFTER YOU ORDER THAT:

1. Get your license key sent via e-mail. Copy the license key to the clipboard.
2. Go to www.webroot.com, put your mouse over "Support", and select "SecureAnywhere" support.
3. Towards the bottom, select "Open a support ticket."
4. Put in your e-mail address, then begin a new support message and select the category of "licensing".
5. Paste your Webroot license from before into this support message, and briefly explain that this is a 2011 key and you wish for it to be upgraded to the SecureAnywhere 2012 equivalent.
6. Webroot support will respond to you in a timely manner and give you your new product key. You are now ready to download and install Webroot SecureAnywhere. Don't worry, it'll be the fastest download and install of any security software you've ever used...guaranteed!
7. Go back to www.webroot.com, at the top select "free trials", then download the version you want. When you run the installer, it will give you the option to put in your license key. You can do so now if you wish. Click install, which will literally take seconds, then let it run its initial scan which will only take minutes or less. You are now being protected by Webroot SecureAnywhere.

Stop being secure somewhere, and start being SecureAnywhere.

Okay, I am a newbie to Webroot, but have used Prevx and hold a near new license in Prevx3.

Now I had no idea that Prevx and Webroot were now joined at the hip, but I am mighty pleased they are.

Great Internet Security software and one that I will be recommending to everyone I know and assist with their computers instead of a rival that also uses Wilders that unfortunately has becoame so bloated as to become too unwieldy for users with just a little bit of knowledge.

A big

Just upgraded my webroot internet security 2011 to WSA 2012 via webroot support. Got an answer back in 15 minutes. Nicely done webroot, nicely done.

I might just buy another $5 license. It's such a steal.
