Default Migrate OS to SSD Boot Error

Hi, Guys
Do not know if this is helpful but purchased my first SSD being a Corsair 120gig F3 (made sure s/n was from the good batch) I migrated my W7 64bit sp1 os from a 1TB to the SSD and completed ok but on booting from that drive OSD said loading operating system with the usual ... progress the after a couple secondds strange symbols and characters would appear and booting stops
Tried it a number of times with same problem. Donot know if it is a quirk of smaller drives, Corsair SSD or some W7 bug but had to rebuild the MBR.
I tried it again with the same drive and again had to rebuild the MBR to get it to boot. Has anybody else had this problem?
Regards
