Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find out if there is a way to migrate my OS to a virtual machine using Drive Copy 2011 (or even another program as long as its free). I don't want to copy my whole OS partition because it has programs on it I won't use on the VM and it takes up more than half the space on the hard drive so it would take a ton of work to get it the way I want it. But I only have one hard drive that I can play with at the moment so OS to SSD won't work in my current state. I thought about trying to get a program that would trick Drive Copy into thinking there was another real disk (like is done with virtual DVD drives) but I don't if such a program exists and if that would be the best way to go. So, can anyone think of a good way to copy only my OS to a virtual machine? Thanks in advance ,Act3297 Windows Vista x64 Home P One hard drive, 320GB with approx 160GB full |
