Can't open ESET CyberSecurity mac os 10.7.2

My ESET Cyber Security was fine until earlier today. Suddenly the computer froze and when i restarted it, I couldn't open ESET every time i try it freezes on the logo, and esets_gui reachs 100% cpu until i force quit. When i try to open it same story...

Can you help me please?

I'm using Macbook pro 15
Mac os lion 10.7.2
ESET product version 4.0.76.0
Virus signature database 6858 (20120203)

Hi there.

I had the same problem as the user in the original post.

My ESET antivirus starts when I log in, then it consumes 100% of CPU and then, crashes. I already tried to reinstall it, but nothing has changed.

I have an old Macbook white (late 2008 model), with 4GB RAM and 2.1 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor. I removed a lot of software that were starting up at login. My version is the current one (4.0.76).

Any idea of what could I do?
