NTFS 9.5 on Lion : problem with virtual machine

Hi,

on my mac with Lion, if I try to use either Virtual Box or "VMware fusion" with virtual machine located in the external ntfs formatted disk, the machine goes in shutdown (sometime even crash) when I make high I/O operation like unzip of a big file, cp -r of a large directory, etc.
