Default ERROR MSG: PAT Session Abnormally Terminated

Hard Disk Manager 11 will not run on one of my PC's (an HP Pavilion Slimline) because it displays the following error, and then aborts on either the "yes" or "no" selection:

ERROR MESSAGE:
'Restart operation Required - The last PAT session was abnormally terminated. You'll need to perform a RESTART operation before any other actions. If you reject a RESTART, data on your disk may remain in a destroyed state. Performa RESTART now?
YES NO

1) I have never run a partition alignment to the best of my knowledge.

2) I reformatted each hard disk partition using a Windows 7 install disk, and then did a clean in stall of Windows 7 Professional and got the same error on running Hard Disk Manger 11.

3) The same Paragon Recovery Disk booted on another machine starts the utility with no errors.

Am I alone??

Do you have HDM 11 installed to the Windows on that laptop? If yes, run it in full scale launcher and check if it starts w\o any errors.
Then try to update MBR of your source HDD:
* right-click your system HDD and select "Update MBR"
* confirm the operation and press Apply.

Once completed, restart and check if HDM 11 RCD boots ok.
