Default How to Convert .veg files to .wmv or something else? I'm Using Vegas Pro

I'm using Vegas Pro and it is not letting me convert to wmv or to any other files. The current file, it says .veg and Youtube doesn't allow that file. How can I convert it to another file that Youtube will accept?

The .veg is not a video file, it's a video project file. It doesnt have any actual video in it.Go to media-convert.com insert your file then covert it to .wmv then upload it to youtube.

I tried inserting the .veg file on "any video converter free" and that did not work. What else can I do?

Instead of choosing "save as", go to "file" then click "Render As". That's what I did for Vegas 7.0.
Don't know if it helps. Also they advice to render it to mp4 or wmv because rendering it to avi takes forever

Can someone give us any other programs or sites to use? We have not had any luck yet.
