Changing from trial to paid version

Hi,
I'm running the free trial version of Paragon NTFS OSX 9.5 on OSX Lion.
I bought the paid version from Amazon as instructed and it should show up this week.

Do I need to uninstall the trial version and install the one I get from Amazon? Or is it enough to just activate the version I have installed with the serial number/product key I get with the paid version?

I shouldn't be a big deal, but I hear uninstalling on Lion is not trivial so i'd rather just leave everything the way it is.
