Isn't this just a summary comparison of all the MRG flash tests?

True, but still pretty decent results for a traditional blacklist type security program. There's a curious absence of DefenseWall on that report though, probably because it still hasn't been breached and has a higher score than Emsisoft (100%). |

Yeah could be that 100% or because it relies on other things and they wanted to compare signature engines

Exactly Noob. They are only comparing anti-virus and anti-malware software.

Oh I'm sure the DW absence is pure coincidence. Notice Zemana is also not present either.

DW and Zemana are entirely different products though. It's entirely justifiable that they aren't there.
Even MRG categorizes them separately.

the main advantage is that they`re using IKARUS engine. emsisoft`s engine is... you do the guessing

Probably because Zemana haven't done all the tests? xD
(Some programs joined later)

The List includes AV and AM products; similar to EAM 6.0. The last time I checked, DW and Zemana were not AV and AM products... ![]() |

I think SAS and MBAM are in a separate category because they're secondary scanners.
Zemana and Defensewall have no scanners, every one in their list is a scanner.

I am curious regarding Emsi how many times their scanner detected malware as opposed to Mamutu? If their scanner detected malware in the tests then I can see where excluding non-scanners in results. If Mamutu is what mainly caught malware first with Emsi then I think it is more relevant to include the likes of Zemana and DW.
