Default Q > about VIPRE Updates, no threats added?

I was browsing the VIPRE definitions page (http://sunbeltsecurity.com/definitions.aspx) and I saw that most of the def. updates released have no added or updated threats.

It got me curious because why release an update when there are no signatures (or whatever they call it) added?

The information on that site is updated automatically. It looks like there was a problem causing it not to update the information properly. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It's been fixed.
