Default How to close a USB HFS Drive in Win7 64-bit

Hi,

1st post here.
Just wanted to know if there is any special protocol i must follow when i use Paragon on a 64-bit Win 7 system.
Lately, a WD HFS 2 TB drive failed to re-mount in Mac after being plugged in my office computer, although i am quite positive the computer was properly shutted down at the end of the work session.
