Copy wizard won't start, but 570GB unallocated
The Copy Partition wizard won't even start - says ...did not find unallocated space... - when there is 570GB unallocated on my external drive and I would like to copy a 73GB partition.
What's the problem? Attached pic of PM 'Disk map', if 'Manage Attachments' works. version 11 free |

The message is wrong - it does find unallocated space.
The problem is that Windows allows only 4 partitions on a disc, and both discs already contain 4 partitions. The 4 partitions can be either 4 primary, or 3 primary and 1 'extended'. The extended partition can contain multiple 'logical' partitions. |
