earlier today i deleted an archive i shouldntve... i ran a file recovery program but it found nothing, though nothing has been written to the disk.. is there anyway to recover an arx file? thanks guys

i lucked out-- i had that same archive archived to an external disk i havent touched in awhile, and had kinda forgotten about... restored it without issue

Recovering them is like recovering any other file, except they can be larger hence clusters scattered over the disk.
I do what you fortunately had done. Keep several archives on different drives, and keep them all updated. Pete |
